You know those serendipitous moments where you know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that you are in exactly the spot you are suppose to be in? It doesn't happen often but when it does you know and good things come of it.
I had one of those moments back in October just before I traveled to the Southern Blogger's Conference. It was all because my child said, 'Mom, you could redo that!' and when he did a lady spun around, pointed a finger and said, 'You're Jamie!'. And the rest is history. That's the day I met my friend Debbie of Refresh Restyle. Someone who does exactly what I do, lives right where I live and knows how to go on a junkin expedition like nobody's business. We've been fast friends ever since. And now we're partner's in paint!
You see, it was at this conference (that we wound up traveling to together because we were both going anyway, so why not!) that something else serendipitous happened to the both of us. We met Annie.
And Annie showed us many amazing things.
La Craie - a premium furniture paint.
In addition to an already amazing color palette, which you can see on my La Craie page, she's recently introduced four new delicious colors giving us 32 different colors to choose from.
If you know anything about my love for those blue/green Ball jars you won't have any trouble guessing my favorite.
And really, just the colors are amazing enough but Annie's only getting started. How about a little Glacage Embossing Creme'
Glacage. Your favorite stencil and BAM! You've got a one of kind look for drawers, doors and pretty much anything else you can dream up.
Are you drooling yet? There's more!
Maybe you'd like to add a little shimmer with the Organza. Or....
Maybe you want things a little grittier - in which case you'll want the La Dirt Antiquing Dust!
Then again you can always embrace your wild side by adding an animal print foil to your newest one of kind piece.
If you're not drooling by now, check your pulse!
This is the tale of when Debbie and I met and Annie. And the rest is, well, history. And it's a beautiful, beautiful thing!
Get ready to join Debbie - Refresh Restyle and I at The Vintage Connection for some amazing new furniture and paint classes. We know you'll love it as much as we do and we love it a lot!
